Tourist agencies nationwide are scaling up tours to Hanoi for the 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi that has its festival in October. Viettravel Company is offering four tours: a four-day-and-three-night tour to Hanoi-Ha Long Bay-Trang An-Hoa Lu old capital at VND8.5 million per person, departing on October 2 and 9; a four-day tour to Hanoi-Yen Tu Mountain-Ha Long Bay-Ninh Binh Province at VND8.3 million; a six-day tour to Hanoi-Phu Tho Province-Ninh Binh Province-Bac Ninh-Province-Ha Long Bay at VND9.8 million departing on October 1 and 7; and a six-day tour to Hanoi-Yen Tu Mountain-Ha Long Bay-Tuan Chau Island- Sapa Town at VND9.8 million per person departing on October 6.
Vietran Tour has also designed three tours associated with the anniversary and the National Tourism Year 2010. Their tour destinations are the Temple of Literature, Ngoc Son Temple, Hanoi Opera House and the Vietnam’s History Museum.
The company will invite visitors to play a game “Discovering the secrets of the Ly Dynasty” to help them explore Vietnam’s history via documents in each destination. The game will last four or five hours and need a group of players.
Hapro Company has ten tours, of which seven are one-day tours priced at VND200,000 per person. A two-day tour costs VND600,00 per person. Their tours focus on Hanoi’s culture and history, such as “Hanoi, 36 old streets,” “Hanoi, land and people,” “Hanoi-Hung Temple-Hai Ba Temple: Building and preserving the country,” “Journeys to craft pottery villages in the Red River region,” or “Craft village and culinary”.
Hanoitourist focuses on famous destinations such as Ha Long Bay, Cat Ba Island, Tam Coc -Bich Dong Tourist Area, Bat Trang Pottery Village, Hue, Hanoi and Hoi An.
